Sadly Saint George the Martyr Parish was unable to celebrate Mothering Sunday together today at church, and it is uncertain how long it will be until public gatherings will once again be permitted. But we should not be discouraged as our trust is in God and He will see us through this difficult time.

Today I celebrated the Holy Eucharist in the privacy of our home with only myself, my wife, and mother-in-law. But we can be encouraged and strengthened in the knowledge that we are not alone as other Christians are also seeking God’s mercy in their own way. God is with us wherever we call on Him. He will keep us safe in His everlasting arms. The Lord bless you and keep you.
