The Parish of Saint George will continue to meet for services via Zoom throughout the pandemic. We meet twice a week as follows:
Sundays at 1:30 pm – Holy Communion
Tuesdays at 10:30 am – Morning Prayer
If you would like to join us for either service please register at email@example.com with your name and email address and we will send you an invitation before each service with the Zoom meeting link.
Sadly Saint George the Martyr Parish was unable to celebrate Mothering Sunday together today at church, and it is uncertain how long it will be until public gatherings will once again be permitted. But we should not be discouraged as our trust is in God and He will see us through this difficult time.
Today I celebrated the Holy Eucharist in the privacy of our home with only myself, my wife, and mother-in-law. But we can be encouraged and strengthened in the knowledge that we are not alone as other Christians are also seeking God’s mercy in their own way. God is with us wherever we call on Him. He will keep us safe in His everlasting arms. The Lord bless you and keep you.
Saint George’s held their first Evensong at the Krawchuk’s this last Tuesday evening. After prayers a light supper was served followed by a cake with birthday wishes to Beta Dulay. We hope to continue Evensong and extend a warm invitation to all who would care to join us on Tuesdays at 5:30 PM.
Lots of fun this year at our Church picnic on Sunday July 21st following our service of Holy Eucharist. Great food, a birthday celebration, and a rousing game of “Guesstures” between the men and ladies. Better luck next year men!
